A native of Roxboro, NC, Tanillya has always had a passion for nursing and a genuine desire to care for others. Her journey began in 1997 when she became a Certified Nursing Assistant, providing compassionate care to her patients. Recognizing her potential to make a greater impact, Tanillya pursued further education, earning her ADN from Vance Granville Community College in 2005.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a dedication to her profession, Tanillya continued her education at WSSU, obtaining her BSN in Nursing in 2008 and her MSN-FNP in 2012. In May 2021, she achieved her PMHNP-BC from Liberty University, solidifying her expertise in mental health. With her extensive experience working in hospitals, long-term care facilities, correctional facilities, and various clinics, Tanillya brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep sense of compassion to her practice.
Tanillya’s dream of opening Across the Lifespan PLLC has become a reality, allowing her to specialize in primary care and mental health services. She is a strong believer in the power of faith and credits God for her accomplishments. Tanillya cherishes her role as a wife and mother, finding joy in singing and spending time with loved ones
